There are four key areas in Finance:- Business Partners. Finance Business Partners are embedded across the AstraZeneca organization, providing critical finance input into strategic and operational business decisions.
- Specialist Finance. Specialist Finance provides key financial support across a range of core finance disciplines.
- Global Transactional Finance. Global Transactional Finance is reshaping our way of delivering the fundamental transactional elements of Finance that underpin everything else that we do.
- Transactional Finance. Globally managed Transactional Finance, delivered through a combination of in-house and Business Process Outsourcing service centres.
Global Finance Academy

The Finance Academy is an online development resource tailored for Finance Professionals. It will enable you to understand your development needs better, identify steps you can take to build your capabilities and support the development discussions you have with your manager.
European Graduate Training Program
Our first-class, CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) approved graduate training program will help you develop all the skills you need to become a future Finance leader at AstraZeneca.During the first three years, you'll undertake a variety of roles, all of which are designed to meet the practical experience requirements of CIMA. You’ll have the chance to take on real-world responsibility, with real exposure to the analysis of key financial data that will shape our strategic decision-making. Within the three-year timeframe, we'll give you all the financial and management support you need to pass your CIMA exams.
The program recruits within the UK and Sweden, for placements across Europe throughout the three years. On qualification, you can look forward to a varied and challenging career that could span different parts of the business around the globe.
