Our Mentoring program. Learning from each other.
Mentoring at AstraZeneca constitutes an important part of skills development and is available to all employees. The purpose is to strengthen the individual and increase contacts within the organization, as well as increase knowledge and understanding of AstraZeneca in a greater perspective.
Mentoring implies that two people – mentor and mentee – work together towards agreed upon objectives. Through the mentor’s knowledge and experience, the mentee will gain both professional and personal growth. Through the mentee, the mentor in turn has an opportunity to reflect on himself/herself as a person and in their professional role, which leads to professional and personal growth for the mentor as well. Mentoring becomes a personal relationship which must be created according to the desires of both the mentor and mentee.
